United States District Court, Southern District of New York
March 31, 2003
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,
SHAUL DEBBI, DEFENDANT.
The opinion of the court was delivered by: Jed S. Rakoff, United States District Judge
On the consent of the Government, see transcript, March 31, 2003, the defendant's motion to suppress is granted as to the items remaining in dispute, to wit, those materials seized from defendant's home that the Government maintains are evidence of his alleged fraud or obstruction of justice, see United States v. Debbi, No. 02 Cr. 808, 2003 WL 256789, at *4, slip. op. at 8-9 (S.D.N.Y. Jan. 31, 2003). Also, confirming today's scheduling, oral argument on the defendant's second motion to suppress (relating to "fruit of the poisonous tree") and on the Government's renewed motion to increase defendant's bail package will be held on April 11, 2003 at 9 a.m.
