IN RE WORLDCOM

United States District Court, S.D. New York

April 19, 2004.

IN RE WORLDCOM, INC. SECURITIES LITIGATION; This Document Relates to: AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL GROUP, INC., et al., Plaintiffs, -v- BERNARD J. EBBERS, et al., Defendants

The opinion of the court was delivered by: DENISE COTE, District Judge

ORDER

Pursuant to this Court's standing Order in the WorldCom Securities Litigation, February 3, 2004*fn1 was the deadline for the plaintiffs in the above-captioned matter to amend their complaint since it was 21 days after the file reached this Court. On February 2, 2004, plaintiffs requested an indeterminate extension of time to amend their complaint pending a ruling by the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit on the 1292(b) petition. Since fact discovery that plaintiffs may take of defendants in the Securities Litigation ends on June 18, there are many important reasons why the plaintiffs in this action should, as have other plaintiffs, finalize their pleadings.

Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that plaintiffs have until April 30, 2004 to amend their complaint.

  SO ORDERED.
