Pursuant to this Court's standing Order in the WorldCom
Securities Litigation, February 3, 2004*fn1 was the deadline
for the plaintiffs in the above-captioned matter to amend their complaint
since it was 21 days after the file reached this Court. On February 2,
2004, plaintiffs requested an indeterminate extension of time to amend
their complaint pending a ruling by the United States Court of Appeals
for the Second Circuit on the 1292(b) petition. Since fact discovery that
plaintiffs may take of defendants in the Securities Litigation
ends on June 18, there are many important reasons why the plaintiffs in
this action should, as have other plaintiffs, finalize their pleadings.
Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that plaintiffs have until April 30, 2004 to amend their
